Time flies..

I can't believe it has been almost a month since my last post. We went to Wisconsin over Spring break and had a great time with Rick's side of the family. One of my favorite things is sitting and listening to the stories that Grandma and Grandpa tell. The kids really enjoyed themselves, especially going to the beach and the zoo. On our way back home we stopped in Chicago at the Museum of Science and Industry. What an amazing place. I think everyones favorite was touring the German sub exhibit.


Before we left for our trip I spent a week organizing my sewing room. It is so clean I almost don't want to use it and mess it up. But alas, there is work to be done. I have a couple of installs this next week.

Finished

I have a terrible habit of starting projects and not finishing. So that means I have to give myself something to look forward to when I complete a project. Kelly is very good at giving me new ideas and she just issued a new challenge which I am very excited about. But before I begin, I needed to finish my quilt. So I completed it today!!!



I am very excited about how it turned out. I ended up tying the center squares and machine quilting the borders. The finished size is 102" X 102", which is a king size.

Now I can't wait to get going on the puzzle quilt.
